5 Game Mechanics:

1) Challenge 
Remember cards & associated stories. Retrieve your story before time runs out. Earn a black coin if you do not remember a card or story that has already been picked—or if you can not tell a new story within 30 seconds.

2) Reward
Get to know each other on a deeper level and feel good with your newly retrieved happy memories. 

3) Mirroring
Remembering and reproducing the other person's story.

4) Compete
Players compete against each other to see who is the best listener and who can retrieve the most cool memories in a short amount of time.

5) Have fun
Get to know each other in a fun way!

How to play the game

Rules:
1) Pick one card per turn from the stack.
2) All cards picture Rorschach shapes.
One deck exists of 60 cards with 20 individual artworks. 

Card Options
Option A)
A new Rorschach image gets picked:
Recall a memory from your life story inspired by the image, before the sand in the hourglass runs out

Option B)
Rorschach image that is already linked to a story gets picked:
• Remember story: Next player picks a card
• Tell wrong story: + 1 black coin
• Forget that the image is already linked to another story: + 1 black coin

3) Next Player picks a card

4) Player with the most amount of black coins is the worst listener in the group.

»Happy Memories« is a multiplayer card game that supports the reactivation of happy memories through the use of Rorschach images. Pick a card and let the memories awake by looking at the images—share your memory with the players. Memories need to be told before the hourglass runs out. Be aware to remember the shared stories and to not tell a story twice—otherwise you will earn a black coin. The person with the most black coins is the worst listener. 

»Happy Memories« is a serious game because it strengthens mental health by recalling happy stories of the players lives and helps in building deeper connections to other players. 

Mental Health & Recollection Ability
The ability of recalling Happy Memories plays an essential role in wellbeing.
Visuals can support that process of recalling forgotten memories. To not forget happy events of your life, those moments have to be recalled on a regular basis.
